When you submit an enquiry to the DfT HR Advice Team, part of DfT Group HR Operations, we will ensure that we look after any personal information you disclose to us and use it only as necessary to provide you with an answer.
The following data will be recorded to enable the HR Advice Team to deal with your enquiry:
Email address
Staff number
Title – optional
Forename
Surname
Telephone number
Where your enquiry relates to a specific pay/policy issue for which another team within DfT has responsibility, the DfT HR Advice Team may need to contact this team to obtain clarification regarding your enquiry in order to provide you with a response.
In some instances your enquiry may be forwarded onto the appropriate nominated team within DfT for them to contact you directly regarding your enquiry. Your enquiry and details will continue to be treated in the strictest confidence and we will let you know when this happens.
Your information will be kept securely within the DfT HR Advice Team and destroyed after 12 months of your enquiry being answered.
